Newcomers Club members enjoying a wine tasting and food pairing event hosted by Maggie and Lyle Flostrand. Wines were selected by wine consultant Gail McFadden, who provided information about favorable wine and food combinations. Members contributed a variety of tasty dishes, including a cheese plate, various entrees (salmon, chicken and beef) and several tasty dessert courses. A good time was had by all!!!
Newcomers Club 2015 Christmas Pot Luck –
This year’s Christmas party was held in the upstairs meeting room at the Ladysmith Legion Hall. Everyone in attendance brought a food item to share and optionally participated in the gift exchange and/or provided a non-perishable item for the food bank. With the sound of Christmas carols in the background everyone had a wonderful time.
